A bankroll contest with no bankroll

A bankroll contest is a simple idea: everyone starts with the same amount to play with, everyone makes picks, and whoever finishes with the most profit wins. Rush runs that contest with no money in it. What you play with is called Stack. It is not money, you cannot buy it, you cannot take it out, and it never carries over to the next contest.

Every entry gets the same fresh Stack, so nobody buys an edge and nobody starts the week behind. Put as much or as little of it behind a pick as you like, on any line on the Board. Profit is scored in Units, and the Field is ranked by Units won rather than by win percentage. That is the difference between this and a confidence pool: how you sized a pick counts as much as which side you took, so a steady week can finish above one big parlay that got given straight back.

Lose the whole Stack and that contest is over for you. Nothing else is. The next entry starts fresh at the same number as everyone else, which is why a bad Sunday costs you a contest and never an account balance.

How a contest works

1. 1

   Enter with Tickets

   You start with 15. The Rush costs 5, Primetime 3. Tickets only get you in; they are not what you play with. Earn more by logging in daily, making a pick, and inviting friends.

2. 2

   Get your Stack

   Every entry gets 1,000 Stack for that contest. Same for everyone, fresh every contest. It is not money and it never carries over.

3. 3

   Make picks on the Board

   Chiefs -3.5 (win by 4 or more). Over 47.5 in the Eagles game. Mahomes 250+ passing yards. One pick, or a few chained into a parlay, at real lines, locked when the game starts. Put any amount of your Stack on each pick, until that game kicks off.

4. 4

   Track your picks as they settle

   Wins add to your Stack, losses come off. Profit is what counts, shown in Units: every 10 Stack of profit is 1 Unit, so +100 Stack shows as +10 Units.

5. 5

   Most Units wins

   Ranks update as games finish and Slips settle. When the contest ends, the highest Units takes first. First place wins the prize; the next finishers earn Tickets.

What you can win

$100 to $300 to 1st every week. Bigger Field, bigger prize.

The weekly prize is set by the number of entrants when entry closes: $100 under 40, $150 at 40, $200 at 75, $250 at 125, and $300 at 200 or more, the maximum. From 50 entrants the top three are paid, from 100 the top five. Primetime contests pay $25 to first on the night, and the season champion gets two seats at an NFL game, their choice of game.
