Why Rush?

What it is

Rush is a weekly sports pick contest. You enter with free Tickets, get a 1,000-credit Stack, and stake it on real sportsbook odds: spreads, moneylines, totals, player props, any sport. Your results feed a live leaderboard against everyone else in the contest, and a skill rating (RIQ) that tracks you week over week, season over season. No deposits, no purchases, no ads.

Why it was built

Rush started as a private weekly pool between friends. It ran 39 straight weeks, through the entire offseason, before becoming an app. The lesson from that year: what kept everyone coming back wasn't winning money, it was the competition: the standings, the sweat, and settling who actually knows ball. Sportsbooks are you against the house, and the house always wins. Rush is you against people, on the record.

Coming in Season 1

Season Zero is the proving season. If it does its job, Season 1 grows into the real thing — pending legal approvals, and not a day before:

  • Paid entries and cash prize pools for skill tournaments
  • New tournament formats alongside the ranked season — including rebuy and add-on specials. The ranked season stays one equal Stack for everyone, always.
  • Partner and sponsored events with co-branded contests
  • A nonprofit component: a share of house fees directed to causes the community picks
  • Your RIQ, record, and founding-member badge carry into all of it

No dates and no promises until the legal work is done. Everything above is a direction, not an offer.
